Jogging Bottoms Are For Inside or Exercise

While I have been on maternity leave trying to get out and about i've seen so many mums in jogging bottoms, unflattering baggy tops, hair tied back and not having time to put make up on all blaming it on having kids. (I'd love to give some of these makeovers).
I've always tried to make the best of myself and I would never go out without my make up on because it makes me feel better about myself but a comment another mum made in a mum and baby group I went to a few months back said " I don't bother with make up as i'm not on the pull anymore" it made me so angry, is that what other women think about make up or maybe me....REALLY. I backed my corner and told her i've always loved putting on make up so i'm not about to change because I have a baby, i'm not me without make up.

I don't understand the attitude's of some women you don't have to completly forget about yourself because you have children.  Yes it is harder and yes you don't have as much time for you as you used to and yes financially it can hit you but why oh why do they make themselves look worse - I can't stand it.

It is a huge life change having a child and you do have less time for yourself so maybe some days if I am staying in I don't bother as much but I still always feel better with a little make up. Which isn't a 3 hour job that people think you need, It takes me seconds,  while my little man crawls around or playing with his toys.

I'm Loving the 50's look at the moment with red lips, styled hair and figure enhancing fashion wouldn't it be nice to go back in time and see women dressed like this every day.

Women (and men) should make the best of themselves.
