I love making things

I have been making greeting cards and jewellery for several years now so I have decided to re-launch as Little Blue Feet (previously Kelly Card Designs). After having my little man I abandoned my creative side as being a new mum was hard enough but now I know what I'm doing (most days) I had the urge to make something so i decided to make animals.

On my facebook page you will find all my greeting card designs and my new products added today hanging felt animals what do you think?

I will get some better pictures added but these are my animals so far hope you like them. I have a cat, chick and rabbit in working progress.

I am selling these at £3.95 each plus £1.25 P&P.

I am happy to customise and add an initial or change colours to suit you at an additional cost of £1.

I have written a previous post on Being Creative.

Comments welcome, what other animals would you like to see?

Being Creative

I've been trying to think of a product I could make and sell as I love being creative in some way.

For a few years I tried handmade greeting cards which I still have a stock of (see Kelly Card Designs) but it didn't seem to take off. I only really sold to colleagues and friends. I tried craft fairs, my own website and eBay but only sold a handful this way. I did have a couple of commissioned cards which was fun but it wasn't going to create a wage for me.
I also tried making beaded jewellery but it went the same way as the cards plus if you go to craft fairs i always found a lot of competition so you don't always get a place.

Drawing on my wedding invites
I've always loved being Arty in some way, at school I used to decorate my school books which the teachers didn't like. I made my Wedding Invitations, customised furniture in my house, I've even tried to customise clothes ( that didn't work out).

What's next, well the craze of the sock monkey has started my brain ticking...... Could I make something else out of socks umm I've seen someone make pigs so I can't do that and they seem popular so as I looked at my son he had a t-shirt saying "mummy's little monster" so that's it I'm making Sock Monsters ha!

What do you think? Here is my first attempt of a sock monster..... do I have potential?

I'm going to make another one hehe!
