Stitched for you
Great family trees made from felt animals. I asked the lady if she could do a panda one and very quickly sketched her ideas but she has a huge order list and I'm not on it until 2015. Must be fabulous to be that popular. 

Oh and of course I love my page Kelly's Box Crafts and accessories.

At the beginning of the year I was under 100 likes and after a bit of sponsored listings I shot up to 500 around March but after community sharing and liking I am now at 1016 likes I'm utterly amazed. 

Love to know if anyone else has any favourite pages they would like to share.

Crafts and Accessories

New crafts and accessories have been added to Kelly's Box the last couple of weeks. I would love to see what you think of the products I have on my page.


Today I have added some pretty chiffon scarves that I would actually like to keep as they are so nice especially the Butterfly and Giraffe ones.

I really like making bracelets at the moment and when the sun is out I seem to go bright like this wooden flower button bracelet, it reminds me of spring which I think is a great time of year.

Do More Of What Makes You Happy

I came across this image the other day which got me thinking what does make me happy.

Well after having a hellish week last week I want to make this a better one.

Starting with Ollie so he doesn't play me up I decided to get him to decorate biscuits as he hasn't done that. It was fun and made me smile to see him happy.

What makes me happy well I like making things so I made another christmas decoration.

I also love photos and I am starting to put  photobooks together of family days out so we can concentrate on good memories. 

I do love when both boys are asleep and hubby and I can sit on the sofa with some wine, chocolate and a good film.

I seem to get a kick out of sorting stuff, selling it and just being organised.

What else makes me happy urm! Well I'm happy when I get quiet either that's when the boys are napping or the noisy neighbours are out (neither happens often). 

It's funny when I think of the things I used to feel happy about like buying new clothes, Booking my next holiday /trip away (not something I can do now), Days off work, Friday's where bliss. How life can change.

Christmas Come Early

For weeks I've been wanting to make christmas decorations in hope that possibly I could sell on my Kelly's Craft Box page. 

Yesterday I thought just do it as Ollie had fallen asleep and Joel was playing with toys and today I managed to make two more. 

What do you think?

I would like to make a couple more as Ollie is asking for Santa and I would like to make a gingerbread man also.

Only 74 more days to go :)

Busy, Busy, Busy

 

The past few days have been pretty busy with Kelly's Craft Box with some customer orders. 

A hanging monkey and three little thank you owls which will be given to teachers as gifts. 

I've also been trying to promote my Avon page Kelly's Beauty Box as well as getting out and about posting books and completing my very first order. I've even been asked to consider becoming a leader (scary).

It was also my husbands birthday yesterday so we had a family day out at Thurleigh farm, not really a 35 year olds ideal day out but now we have kids we have to suit them.  Ollie loved it and Joel was more interested in my camera case.

I also stupidly said I would make Paul a cake. His favourite orange chocolate flavour. It took me ages to make but it couldn't have been bad as it's all gone now. 

 
It was shared with family for birthday celebrations in the evening.

I've Opened An Etsy Shop

I have had a number of craft ideas/projects over the years as my ideal job would be to make and sell handmade products. So far I can't say I've had much success.


I started with handmade greeting cards as I worked at an Art Centre so they let me sell them in the shop and they seemed to do very well. After leaving there I carried on making them and changed my style along the way so tried selling at craft fairs and garden centres but not many sales as a result. I then created a website naming it Kelly Card Designs but after a year I had only sold one card so it didn't justify the cost of the website. 
While doing this I did sell to colleagues at various jobs who were my best customers and received big Christmas card orders. I even had a few commissioned jobs out of it. 

I still have a stock of cards that I made for craft fairs so I started selling them on eBay which was great for a short time until someone received a card slightly bent from posting it so gave me negative feedback. 

Next step was a facebook page, I've had likes, comments and 86 followers but no sales. I have now decided to clear my stock and sell at just 50p a card. Still no bites. I also started making beaded jewellery who again have only been purchased by friends, family and colleagues.

So my latest trial is an Etsy Shop after seeing various shops appearing on facebook I thought I would give it a go too. At the moment I have only added a few hanging felt animals which can also be found on my facebook page.

I love making things

I have been making greeting cards and jewellery for several years now so I have decided to re-launch as Little Blue Feet (previously Kelly Card Designs). After having my little man I abandoned my creative side as being a new mum was hard enough but now I know what I'm doing (most days) I had the urge to make something so i decided to make animals.

On my facebook page you will find all my greeting card designs and my new products added today hanging felt animals what do you think?

I will get some better pictures added but these are my animals so far hope you like them. I have a cat, chick and rabbit in working progress.

I am selling these at £3.95 each plus £1.25 P&P.

I am happy to customise and add an initial or change colours to suit you at an additional cost of £1.
