It has been a while since my last post way back in November but while heavily pregnant I hadn't felt very fashionable and attractive in fat clothes so paused the outfit posting.
I had my second baby boy on 28th December so I've been lounging around in pjs and fat clothes for the past three weeks.
I now have the urge to clear out my wardrobe of many clothes to see what I should keep, sell or give to charity so I can make way for the new when my body starts to shrink (hopefully).
I had some great Christmas presents in the way of shoes (from previous wish list posts) but couldn't wear them as my swollen feet and expanding heavy belly didn't allow me to but now baby is out and it's a brand new year I hope to bring some more style posting........watch this space.
See one of my last dress ups a week before I gave birth:
Black and gold sequin top from select
Good old black maternity leggings from an eBay shop.
Velvet jacket cover up which is years old so not sure where I got this one.

30 weeks plus 3 days
OMG I am so so tired, I can't seem to sleep through at night as I'm uncomfortable. I can't sleep in my bed without getting achy hips plus I'm stuffy so find it hard to breathe. I've ended up sleeping on the sofa surrounding myself with pillows.
In my thirtieth week I am aches and pains, exhausted, moody, heavy and still expanding, can't walk too much or far otherwise I feel like the baby will just fall out with the pressure I have combined with sciatica, swollen feet and weak knees.
To top it off I still have just under five weeks of full time work which adds to the exhaustion and irritation, while coping with Braxton hicks (so uncomfortable) when trying to concentrate on work and trying hard to be nice to others when you feel pants.
What an experience women have to go through, has anyone actually enjoyed pregnancy?

What a week..........
I'm now 20 weeks pregnant (well as of tomorrow) can't believe I'm half way but it sure is tiring creating a person in your belly, I just want to sleep but that proves difficult when working full time and having a toddler.
It hasn't been an easy week either due to other people. Why do people in this world have to make others a misery it's just so un-necessary. Is it because it gives them some sort of satisfaction, power, or maybe they just don't realise they do it but I'm expected to be nice to them but really how the hell are you suppose to be nice to someone who makes you feel like you will explode with anger and you just want to punch them.
I hate being a person who is expected to just get on and deal with it no questions but after being on the earth for 31 years I'm pretty sick of it. Maybe I should become a bitch, seems like that's the only way you get anywhere..... Ridiculous.
On a lighter note my little man turned 16 months and has started to say lots of words which makes me feel so proud. He says bubble, zebra, man, bathroom, giraffe, duck, doggy, and mostly daddy.
I also only have 14 weeks at work until I bugger off on maternity leave, oh I can't wait. Hopefully life will be easier then.

Happy Mother's Day
My very first Mother's Day today which is a weird feeling as I am a mummy to a gorgeous little boy which I never imagined I'd have and its forever, that is a responsibility.
| My Present |
After a year of trying I started to come to terms that it may never happen so wondered what I could do with my life. I suggested to my husband we should sell everything and go travelling as why do we need a house, why do we need to be slaves to jobs, why do we need all this stuff if we aren't going to have a family so why don't we just enjoy life and do what we want to do - he wasn't keen as he loves his stuff he has collected over the years but I just didn't understand. This was my positive thinking for the future without children I carried on thinking this way then I had an opportunity at work which lifted my spirits as it meant I may actually work towards a worthwhile career and enjoy it and then BOOM it happened I found I was 5 weeks pregnant my thoughts were woohoo! Omg, is this really what I want, worry, scared, nervous as I actually have to give birth but while thinking these things I had a smile on my face this is what I have wanted - it took approx 14 months to get there but I was actually going to have a baby.
I've now been a mum for 11 months and it has been the best thing that has happened to me and the hardest as it really does turn your life upside down.
Happy Mother's Day to all the mums, mums to be and want to be mums out there.
