Clean 9 Diary

I have started my Clean 9 Programme by Forever Living to kick start a cleaner, healthier and thinner me.
Day 1-2 you have no food at all but Aloe Vera, Garcinia, bee pollen, one shake and water. Day 3-9 you add one more shake plus 600 cals meal.

DAY ONE
I'm feeling motivated and excited.

I was surprised that the Aloe Vera gel didn't taste as bad as I was expecting. By mid morning I started to feel hungry but resisted by taking some before photos of my journey.
My Measurements
Hips: 38"
Waist: 33"
Arm: 10"
Thigh: 19"
Chest: 39"
Weight: 10 Stone 11lb

Shake was actually quite nice at lunch but I did get hunger pangs mid afternoon but tried to keep busy.
It was very strange not eating dinner with everyone especially has hubby made it. I have found it particularly difficult with two small children as they constantly ask for snacks which is also temptation for me.
I got through day one yay!

DAY TWO
Today has been much harder as feeling tired and irritable especially as just me with two little boys making noise and asking for food all the time.
I would like to eat and just thought why am I doing this to myself. Very difficult day.

DAY THREE
Happy to have a shake for breakfast today. My weigh in only said 1lb lost which I was so disappointed about and thought again why am I doing this as I've lost more following weight watchers.
After speaking to people I felt better and decided to carry on and felt better towards the evening after real food, only had 412cals but it did the trick. I've done lots of walking today It was certainly a workout pushing my two boys in a double buggy with shopping, flat wheel and up a hill.

My Measurements
Hips: 38"
Waist: 32.5"
Arm: 10"
Thigh: 19"
Chest: 38"
Weight: 10 Stone 10lb

DAY FOUR
Still feeling tired I just want to nap not feeling very energised at all. I had a snack of 90 cals mid morning so leaves me 510 cals for dinner. Managed exercise as I'm doing the 30 day ab challenge as well but caved in and had a snack but still had 441 cals left. I came under again by using a total of 592 cals. Felt better again in the evening.

DAY FIVE
No change in the way I'm feeling so had a very small chocolate but still came in under 600 cals. Total of 572 cals used. So tired.

DAY SIX
Measured myself and was a little disappointed even though it isn't actually bad losing 1 inch from waist.
Think I'm gutted I haven't experienced the high and energy other people say they have.
I haven't been able to weigh myself as that will have to wait until my weight watchers weigh in on Saturday.

My Measurements
Hips: 37.5"
Waist: 32"
Arm: 9.5"
Thigh: 19"
Chest: 38"

As I felt disheartened I did go over 600 cals, but not a shake.

DAY SEVEN
Back to it and stuck to it today and used 586 cals for the day. Wasn't hugely tired as have been but hunger pangs started in the evening but I had a herbal tea to curb them. I really don't think this clean was for me as since May I have followed weight watchers so not too much to lose in regards to weight but I really hoped I'd get the energy.
Only two more days.

DAY EIGHT
Had a busy day with kids today so lots of walking and we had lunch out so I swapped dinner cals for lunch today.

DAY NINE
Last day yay!

Want to eat sweets and biscuits today it really hasn't made me feel motivated at all even on my last day, I will stick through it though.

All along I haven't felt the energy boost, I don't really feel any different. My after pic does show my waist has more shape and belly has reduced.

Overall I haven't enjoyed the experienced and I'm disappointed not feeling the benefits others have raved about.

Final measurements are
Hips: 37.5"
Waist: 31.5"
Arm: 9.5"
Thigh: 18.5"
Chest: 38"
Weight 10 stone 7lb

Others that have used Clean 9 to kick start a healthier lifestyle have had amazing results so I'm not saying it doesn't work but I think because I have already cut a lot of unhealthy living out since May it just wasn't successful for me. If you are interested in giving it ago then I recommend a Ami's Aloe Vera as she is very helpful and supportive.
