I haven't posted in a while as it's been non-stop with kids being at home, really miss play group days so I've resorted in booking both boys into holiday club once a week for a breather as I wouldn't get one otherwise and the days seem long. Makes you realise how lonely you are :/
I've booked events at the library and children's centres to keep them occupied but with both it can prove difficult as the other week we went to a shark event and Ollie loved it as he got to make a shark and listen about shark facts whereas Joel the youngest decided to cry face down on the floor. So you can't please both.
We have done plenty of painting, park trips and tried meeting with other children but sometimes that ends in fighting so one is upset.
Last week my friend Alison moved back to the UK which I'm so happy about, we met yesterday to see how our boys would get on together as my oldest starts school in September (yay!) As does hers. All went well so fingers crossed they will be happy to see each other more.
Today we are waiting for my Avon delivery so we can make a pirate ship out of the boxes and if both behave I may even take them to a local soft play area. I do wish I had a car though as we are limited unless daddy has a day off.
