Christmas Jumpers

Christmas Holly Jumper

Christmas jumper day is 12th December and I'm actually pretty tempted to join in after seeing this fabulous Holly Jumper at Asda George for £14 and a donation goes towards Save the Children.

Teamed with jeggings or simple black leggings it would look fab with red lips on the big day aswell.

Love these also from Asda for the kids aswell how cute are they from £8.

Others that have caught my eye are Peacock's red Christmas Tree jumper £18 and another Asda Jumper which is £10.

Can't wait until Christmas now.

Mischievious Elf

I thought I would have a go at the Elf on the shelf craze at Christmas in hope it would help Ollie my 2 year olds behaviour but I actually had a lot of fun myself as some days the Elf left notes or presents or did silly things in the house. It's all a bit of fun.

Here are my 24 Days with an Elf for Christmas 2013.

Day 1:
Elf arrives with a letter from Santa, his name is Cracker and he decided to put up a few extra decorations (Mummy's handmade decorations of course).

Day 2:
Cracker blows up Santa and snowman balloons and leaves a note asking not to be touched and for the boys to be good.
Day 3:
Cracker climbed the Christmas tree to the top of the star, he left a note as he had witnessed Ollie being naughty to Joel so no treats were left. Cracker met fellow elf 'Sally' from HappyTots play group.

Day 4:
Cracker and Sally elf sat together on a shelf to watch the boys find a Christmas book each as a treat. They also got up to mischief during the night and played with all the toys and left a big  mess for Ollie's mummy to tidy.

Day 5:
Naughty Cracker and Sally Elf ate all the chocolates in the advent calendar and didn't hide the evidence but they did leave Ollie and Joel one chocolate each.

Day 6:Cracker and Sally Elf are getting so naughty, this morning they covered the lounge in toilet roll, but they did leave a little toy each for Ollie and Joel to make up for it.

Day 7:
Cracker and Sally Elf where found reading books to all of Ollie's Christmas teddies.

Day 8:
We had the pleasure of Elf pant parachutes today and chocolate snowman dangling over the lounge.

Day 9:
Cracker and Sally were found in the fridge as they decided to turn the milk pink and the eggs have faces - magic.

Day 10:
It was Sally's last night with us so she enjoyed a marshmallow bath with Cracker, all clean for her return back to HappyTots Play Group.

Day 11:
Cracker and our new arrival Dawn elf started a convoy of Ollie's cars and trains across the lounge last night.

Day 12:
Cracker and Dawn had a little tea party with Ollie's teddies George and Bob.

Day 13: A New Colouring book was left for Ollie but Cracker decided to colour some in while sitting on Joel's new polar bear toy.

Day 14: Cracker and Dawn elf made it snow in a corner
Ollie's friend Oliver came to play today with the boys and Dawn. Ollie did his usual mess making later on in the day with Dawn Elf.

Day 15: The elves got creative in the kitchen and made snowman biscuits.

Day 16: The kitchen got decorated
Day 17: Dawns last night was spent creating a cosy brick scene - Christmas tree, table and seats to sit down to have a feast.

Day 18: Chilling in the ball pit after all the hard work over the last few days.

Day 19: Big snowflakes falling in the hall

Day 20: Cracker and Teddies get dressed up in Ollie and Joel's clothes and chill on the sofa watching TV while eating chocolate coins.

Day 21: Cracker and George the bear got musical with a couple of new friends.

Day 22: Naughty elf is back he wrapped all of the cushions and the mirror.

Day 23: Cracker got the glitter pens and crayons out to do some colouring and he left a goody bag for each of the boys.

Day 24: Crackers last day with us as he goes home with Santa tonight. He left the boys new pyjamas to wear tonight.

Until Next Year Cracker

Creative Memories

I love keeping memories of the boys and thought maybe the grandparents would too so look what we did

Isn't it fantastic its a great alternative to a Christmas card. You can do so many pictures with foot and handprints so may have to get the paints out again.

My Christmas List

I've thought long and hard about my christmas list well maybe not but instead of gifts that I probably don't need or actually want the three things that would be priceless to me are:

1. Some time to myself.
2. A full night of sleep.
3. A lay in even if only til 8am.

Please, please, please someone get me these for christmas - only 38 days to go :)

Christmas Spirit

Getting into the Christmas spirit with Ollie, decorating baubles.
I felt lately I've needed to do different things with Ollie to keep him entertained by making cakes, decorating biscuits, letting him get involved with preparing food or even help hang the washing up. He needs to do more now to keep him from getting bored and naughty.

Christmas Come Early

For weeks I've been wanting to make christmas decorations in hope that possibly I could sell on my Kelly's Craft Box page.

Yesterday I thought just do it as Ollie had fallen asleep and Joel was playing with toys and today I managed to make two more.

What do you think?

I would like to make a couple more as Ollie is asking for Santa and I would like to make a gingerbread man also.

Only 74 more days to go :)

Ho Ho Ho!

Ho ho ho! You will all love me as I've started a Christmas countdown Only 3 months, 2 weeks and 2 days to go woohoo!

I've only started thinking about it as my second bubba is due 5th January so I better make sure I'm prepared as it could happen earlier than I expect especially at the rate I'm growing. Shops have already started filling the shelves with Christmas and I keep seeing signs and leaflets for Christmas parties and dinners.

I do love Christmas but this year will be very different as I will be ready to pop so I can't imagine I will want to do too much especially shopping in town for presents, I think I will be glued to the laptop on my sofa. I'm hoping someone else will cook as well.

Any way enough about Christmas in this mini heatwave today - I just wanted to remind you.
