Super Bargain

I was browsing through Asda sale when one of the staff started reducing items even further so I bagged a pair of black skinny jeans for £2 (was £18). Berry sequin jumper £2 (was £16) and a pair of black sparkle heels again for just £2 (was £12). I got a whole outfit for £6 with a hefty £40 saving. 

Feeling happy happy.

I Love Shoes

Was just having a browse on the select website as it popped up in my news feed that jumpers are from £5 and coats from £20 but I found shoes in the sale instead look at these beauties.

Red platforms just £8.99. I'm not huge into heels as I can't wear them but they always look good to look at but these are tempting for a wedding I have next year. 

Love these brogue heels as they can be dressed up or down and now only £10 BARGAIN :)

I had my eyes on these a few months back but didn't buy them as I was unsure on the size but now they are £8.

Can Feet Really Change

I've been having trouble with shoes at the moment as my feet size / shape had changed. I've always been a size 6 but after my second child my size 6s where too tight as I'd crept up to a size 7 so I sold a lot of my shoes so I could replace them but then during summer I had a pair of size 7 sandals that all of a sudden seemed too big. What I'd just sold my size 6's to get 7's but now I'm in between somewhere so trying to find 6.5 but then that doesn't always work urgh! How can feet change so much? 

Anyway I wanted some new ankle boots and went for a 7 as no 6.5 available they have plenty of room so I'm hoping that will make them comfortable. 

Loving the brogue look at the moment so what do you think to my new boots. I got them 30% off at Peacocks. Can't wait to wear them with a dress and tights. 

I'm selling a load of shoes that are lovely but just don't fit right its so frustrating and you can't tell until you try them first so I'm gaining quite a collection uh oh!

More I Wants

Keep browsing on Select website and Boohoo so I have more I wants to my list, don't know why I do it to myself oh yes I love clothes, shoes and accessories.

These are both from Select at only £15 but not sure which I like best. I would like something to look smarter with leggings as I'm not too keen on the ballerina shoes anymore and patent looks smart.

I Want, I Want

So many things I want to buy at the moment I keep seeing so many polka dot things that I've fallen in love with. The colour orange is also a new favourite.

Since losing a bit of weight I'm feeling more confident and started wearing cami tops. Love this Japanese floral Cami at £6.99 from Select. Also these lace up shoes in yellow (says green but looks yellow to me) at just £5.99.

I Love Polka Dots

I'm in love with everything dotty, polka dots, dots, spots call them what you like i am drawn to them at the moment. 

I've not really liked Cath Kidston style before as I thought it was all floral but no dots are one of the main styles so I have become a bit obsessed. Take a look at these I want, I want, I want.

I'm also looking for a stylish raincoat and come across these beauties. 

I have these dotty items already -

Cath Kidston green purse (from Kelly's Box), Asda George Box dot top, Select polka dot wellingtons and a lovely dotty teapot that I recieved last Mother's Day. 

And today I purchase a pencil case and note pad why I'm not quite sure but they had dots on them so I couldn't leave them in the shop.

I'm a dotaholic. 

Anyone else have obsessions out there that they just cannot leave on the shelves, if so please share.  

Bargain Buys

My bargain buys this week have been two pairs of ballerina pumps from Store Twenty One:

£4 was £7.99

£3.50 was £6.99

This fab slouchy batwing jumper for £10 was only £12 before so not a huge discount.

Will be great teamed with jeggings and pumps or on the rainy days like today with boots.

Woohoo! A Sale.....Again

 

Alot of high street shops seem to have spring sales on already.

Dorothy Perkins have announced a 4 day sale of added lines. 

I am a big fan of scarfs as they are a great cover up when breast feeding in public so this stripe scarf is a must. 

I like hearts and the colour navy so this jumper is great.

My favourite shop is New Look at the moment who also have a sale on with up to 60% off. I have already made a few purchases from here. 

I spent £40 and bagged:

2x pairs skinny jeans
1x jumper
1x stripe top
1x pair of shoes 
 
If I had have paid full price for this lot it would have cost me £88.95.

Oh I Love Those Shoes

Months ago I fell in love with the Ruby Shoo collection especially these two lovely beauties 'Loren' wedges and the'Monroe' black heels.

So at Christmas Deelicious had a sale and I managed to bag them both as Christmas presents woohoo! I couldn't wear them at the time as I was 8 months pregnant and haven't had the opportunity since but with two weddings this year I think they will finally come out of their boxes.

I just like looking at them as they are gorgeous. Deelicious have only just gone and put new ranges in stock - take a look they are all lovely and some have matching bags......Heaven for us girls I think :)

Picking the Right Footwear to Help Your Child’s Feet Grow

Babies feet are soft and supple and do not require baby shoes until they are around 11-13 months and are starting to walk. Prior to this it is best to put your baby in a cosy pair of socks and bootees which are less constricting than shoes and will not damage the foot development. Make sure never to use bootees or all-in-one suits and pyjamas with feet if they are too tight.

 Once baby starts walking most new mums are out there buying the first pair of shoes; but before you do remember that baby’s feet grow quickly and you may need between two to three pairs of shoes or more in a year. New shoes should be wide enough for the foot to sit flat in the shoe as your baby's feet have not yet developed an instep, or more accurately, the instep of a baby is still covered by a layer of baby fat. Buy a shoe which has around 4cm of space above the big toe to allow room for growth. Your baby needs to be able to wiggle toes and use them in a gripping motion, essential for learning to walk, making it so important that baby shoes always fit properly.


The best type of shoes to buy has non-slip soles and an uncomplicated strapping system. For example, canvas shoes are ideal for summer months as are sandals. For the wintertime you can buy fleece lined lace-ups for little boys and for girls shoes, the traditionally adorable Mary Janes.



Your little one will be most comfortable in shoes made from a soft conditioned material which is well lined. Check frequently that your child is not outgrowing their shoes by monitoring that 4cm space above the big toe. Check that the foot is not being squashed in a shoe which has become too narrow. If your baby starts to grizzle when you put on his shoes or if she has red marks or the beginnings of a blister, these are surefire signs that your baby needs new shoes.

 Babies grow at a rate of knots as do their feet. It is so important in later life that a baby is brought up wearing correctly fitting shoes. The right size of shoes gives support to the foot and helps the baby to walk confidently. Baby shoes should always be correctly fitted. Remember when you are up sizing on shoes to do the same for socks.

Love Those Shoes

I just thought I would share my latest purchase, oh just look what I got last week .....red canvas espadrilles from Matalan for only £8. They also have them in blue and beige but I love the red and I can't believe they are only £8 at that price you can afford to buy all three colours.

I just had a look at the website and they are nowhere to be found so I'm glad I got them instore that week if they have sold out but I have to wait for the rain to go before I can wear them.

Friday Wish List

Oh so many things I'd love to buy, I'd love to re-invent myself with a stylish 50s look as I love the red lips, styled hair and figure enhancing clothes oh and I think these shoes from Deelicious would make an excellent start but £44.99 and I'm not allowed to spend boohoo!

I'm a cheap and cheerful high street girl and love bargains so I can get more for my money.

Loving this multi-coloured animal print short sleeve top from Select only £12. I'm rather into animal print and liking this seasons bright colour look so why not put them together. 

Ooh look at this fab black and white striped dress this is defiantly on my wish list also from Select and £16 oohhhh! I think I would add red shoes and bag.

Chiffon Midi prom dress in green from Matalan.

This would be great in the summer with tan wedges and some wooden beads. I like this but I think it's too much at £18, I may hunt for a cheaper version.

I also like this Orange colour block dress from Matalan especially now I have dyed my hair dark brown. This is £26, I still probably wouldn't spend that much - told you I'm cheap and cheerful especially as I like to change my clothes a lot so why spend a lot. 

All those fashion programmes that say buy high street but when they put things together it still always amounts to £100 - £200, I don't have that to spare and I know you don't have to spend that much to look good. I remember going clubbing (going back a few years now) and I had complements on a dress I was wearing and I only spend about £6 on it (Sale probably). I've had whole outfits for about £20 (including shoes). 

Well that's my list of want's today, next time i'll put an outfit together for £20 x
